You can submit 6 to 12 images, subject to the type of project proposed.
For a video work / installation, please add a link to view the work in the “Project Description” section.
In addition, you must upload 6 images from the video work to complete the submission. -
Applications must be submitted in English.

Yes. You may submit one entry only.

Early registration fee is $42 (until 18/6/2023), Late registration fee is 54$ (from the 19/6/2023)

The payment is transferred to PHOTO IS:RAEL, a non-profit company that has initiated the Photography Festival and the Meitar Award. The money will be used to run the jurisdiction process and to exhibit the works at the festival. The award itself is offered by the Meitar Family Foundation

No. We will cover the full costs of the exhibition production.

Yes. The jury members receive all the works without any identification.

Sure. Any photographer may register.

The receipt will be sent to you by email according to the details provided in the registration form.

All images must be in JPEG/JPG format, at least 1000 px on their long side and no bigger than 2mb each.

Preferably. Judges are looking for a unique and interesting personal language expressed in a body of work. By the terms ‘body of work’ we are referring to a group of separate images united together around a particular theme, or a number of pictures that when shown together make up a cohesive whole.

The panelists will select 20 finalists for a group exhibition at the International Photography Festival, which will take place in November 2023 in Tel Aviv.

A professional panel of judges will review all award finalists and will select a photographer who demonstrates thought, quality, originality and excellence in photography, as well as the potential to create a comprehensive body of work suitable for a solo exhibition.

The winner will be announced in November 2023. The award winner will receive a $14,000 grant, composed of a personal grant of $2,500, curatorial guidance, and the production of a solo exhibition that will be part of the 2024 International Photography Festival.

Yes. There is no restriction to submitting work that has already been part of other photo competitions.
